Audrey Byrnes is on the membership committee for the American Cannabis Nurses Association and has been attending and participating in educational events and believes in the importance of advocating for the therapeutic values of cannabis especially to patients and caregivers.
Audrey has been interviewed on local TV and radio stations. Audrey received her Bachelors degree in nursing at Immaculata University in 2013 Cum Laude after graduating from the Abington Hospital Dixon School of Nursing with a diploma degree in 2007.
Audrey currently works a Case Manager for Pharmaceutical products in the Pharmacovigilence – Drug Safety Division for Adverse events and product quality. Previously, clinical experience as a hospital bedside nurse in the Step Down/Progressive Care Unit for 8 years and was active on their Unit Council, served as Co-chairman and was nominated for a Nursing Excellence Award.
Audrey is a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses and holds PCCN (Progressive Care Nursing—Adult) certification and is also a Board Member of the National Nursing Network Organization (NNNO) who are advocating for The National Nurse Act of 2017 – HR 1651.
