Marc J. Ross is a founding member of Sichenzia Ross Friedman Ference LLP.
Since the firm’s inception in 1998, Mr. Ross has developed a broad based securities and commercial litigation and arbitration practice. Mr. Ross regularly represents clients across the country appearing in federal and state courts on behalf of clients from routine lawsuits to highly complex federal securities cases, including high-profile multi-district class actions. Mr. Ross has handled numerous commercial litigation matters (including breach of
contract and intellectual property litigation) and regularly represents clients in arbitration proceedings before the various regulating agencies and the American Arbitration Association.
Mr. Ross further counsels clients through the arduous process of civil regulatory and possibly criminal investigations. He represents clients before federal and state courts
when a client’s economic interest or right is being harmed or disregarded, or when a client finds itself confronted with a threatened or actual lawsuit.
Prior to founding Sichenzia Ross Friedman Ference LLP, Mr. Ross was associated with several large and distinguished law firms, including Willkie Farr & Gallagher. He graduated with distinction (top 10%) from Hofstra University School of Law in 1987, where he was an Associate Editor of Law Review and President of the Trial Advocacy Club. During law school, Mr. Ross received several awards for excellence, including the William F. Levine Scholarship Award from Hofstra University and an award from the American Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Ross is licensed to appear before courts of the State of New York as well as the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern District of New York.
