Rebecca Gasca

Pistil + Stigma CEO, Rebecca Gasca, is an expert on cannabis laws and policy.

Rebecca has spoken on subjects including regulatory compliance, the effects of international drug treaties and on global cannabis policy, essential strategy for new cannabis business ventures, and the importance of pro-active government advocacy.

She began lobbying on cannabis issues in Nevada in 2009 and was instrumental in crafting Nevada’s legislation regulating medical marijuana dispensaries and independent testing laboratories in 2013. Ms. Gasca has advised cannabis clients in and from twelve states, as well as Puerto Rico.

She is Spanish/English bilingual and has traveled globally through the US Department of State and Rotary International to study how government and civil society interactions impact policy, markets, and culture. She has recently joined the Board of Directors for the Open Cannabis Project.
