In Massachusetts Valerio’s clients include open medical dispensaries, dispensary applicants and registration holders, an independent testing laboratory, criminal defendants, property owners, and ancillary businesses related to the marijuana industry. Valerio is a drafter of the successful Question 4 on the November 2016 ballot, the Act to Tax and Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol in Massachusetts. In 2014 and 2015, Valerio was a lecturer for MCLE in Boston, “Medical Marijuana Meets Massachusetts Real Estate, Land Use & Zoning Law.”
In 2013 and 2014, Valerio was a lecturer for the Cannabis Career Institute explaining the medical use of marijuana program to hopeful business operators.
