How to Get Medical Marijuana in Pennsylvania & West Virginia
Under state law, residents who have a serious medical condition as certified by an approved physician are able to register as medical marijuana patients.
Patients register for an ID card and use that card to obtain medical marijuana at a dispensary. Caregivers also are residents and are designated by patients to deliver medical marijuana to them, obtained at a Pennsylvania dispensary.
See below for our 3-step process on how to register for your medical marijuana card in Pennsylvania:
1. Register Online or By Phone
Call the CCC team now at 888-316-9085 or fill out the form on this page to get started! Our consultants will confidentially discuss any concerns or questions you may have about the PA and WV Medical Marijuana Programs and how our certification process works. We will review your medical records and pre-qualify you for free. Then you’ll set up an appointment either online or virtually with one of our cannabis medicine physicians.
2. Talk to Our Certified Medical Marijuana Doctors
You’ll meet with your certifying physician virtually via telemedicine from the comfort of your own home. The doctor will discuss your condition and symptoms, any current or previous medications you use, and detail some recommendations for an optimized personal cannabis medicine treatment plan – including types, dosages, and more.
3. Get Your Medical Marijuana Card
Upon certifying your eligibility for a medical card, you then pay your states fee to the Department of Health who will send out the physical card. Once in hand, you can visit any dispensary in your state and speak with the pharmacists about which products may be best.
